Best retirement village design for Global Awards shortlisted
LONDON: The shortlist for the best seniors housing design has been declared.
Over 250 designs have been considered by the awards secretariat. One of the finalists in this category is shown above.
For most West Aussies, the ultimate summer pad is one with a pool that’s close to the coast but this sprawling Hamptons-style Dudley Park home goes one step further.
Sitting on a 1774sqm canal block, the home has a whopping 86 of water frontage on two sides so that when you tire of splashing around in the huge pool you can go enjoy a plethora of water sports from your own private jetty.
“We have loved living and bringing up our family over the last six years here. The kids loved going into town by boat for dinners and we enjoyed watching them crab and fish from the jetty,” the owners said.
The Global Award winner will be announced in November in London. (Globals)
