AI-powered housekeeping platform Cleanzy launched

MELBOURNE: At present, food, taxi, and many things can be ordered on-demand with just a tap on our phone. As long as there is a market for it, many services can be booked through the app, which also enables service providers to offer assistance at the best possible rate.

Well, in this regard, the cleaning service is no different. Even though everyone likes to keep their home and office places clean and tidy, not many people have the time nor energy to clean.

Many entrepreneurs took this as an opportunity to make use of the on-demand economy to caters to a wide range of customers right from individuals to businesses in need of cleaning and related services.

Launched in 2014, Cleanzy is an online platform created to connect private and commercial premises with cleaning professionals. Recently, the startup has launched its AI-powered cleaning app in the UK after already setting up shop in Turkey, Italy, and Spain. Since its inception, the firm has raised $4.5M (approx €4M) + from Collective Spark, Maxis VC, and several prominent angel investors.

Tayga Baltacioglu, Founder and CEO of Cleanzy, says:
We are so happy to have launched in London, and are ready to revolutionise the cleaning market here! We aim to offer busy city workers peace of mind when it comes to cleaning with a hassle-free service so that they can cross something off the to-do list.

Cleaned 200,000 homes globally so far!
Back in September 2019, Cleanzy set up its first UK based office in Paddington and now launched in London with 150 cleaning professionals. Furthermore, the company plans to move to 4 UK cities by the second half of 2020 with a goal of 5000 cleaners by the end of 2020 date. It’s worth mentioning that Cleanzy works with over 15,000 cleaners and has cleaned 200,000 homes globally!

Unlike other platforms, the wellbeing of Cleanzy’s freelance cleaners is intrinsic to the heart of the business, making it the first UK gig economy style cleaning company with social responsibility at its core.

Baltacioglu said:
Ultimately we want to change people’s perspective of the profession and make it an industry that people want to work in. The gig economy can often have negative connotations, but this doesn’t have to be the case when there are companies that truly care about the well-being and progression of their employees, and Cleanzy is one of those companies.

Can be booked in three easy steps!
The startup uses AI to match the right cleaner with the right job, by task, location, price, and time, ensuring that they get the best results. In terms of service, leaning services can be booked instantly from the Cleanzy website or through the app. Notably, users can also schedule a Cleanzy visit every day of the week, from 8.30 am until 6.00 pm.

Cleanzy Coverage!
All cleans are covered by Cleanzy Coverage, so any damage that occurs during a clean is covered up to the cost of £150,000. In terms of security, the team meets individuals in person while recruiting to learn about their background, personal stories, life commitments, and approach to the job.

Baltacioglu added:
In a mutually beneficial relationship, Cleanzy will work on giving our professionals a steady income, whilst our cleaning professionals will feel secure enough to stay with the company in a long term capacity.
