Best seniors apartment design for Global Awards shortlisted
LONDON: The shortlist for the best seniors apartment design has been declared.
Over 250 programmes have been considered by the awards secretariat. One of the finalists in this category is shown above.
One of North Texas’ biggest apartment builders — Irving-based JPI — has broken ground on a new seniors rental community in Anna north of Dallas.
JPI is partnering with the city of Anna to build the Parmore Anna Senior Living project at the northwest corner of Florence Way and East Finley Boulevard near U.S. Highway 75.
The 185-unit, 9-acre project is being built in partnership with Anna Housing Finance Corp.
It’s the second project in JPI’s new senior rental housing developments.
“JPI’s vision for the Parmore experience is to provide a place of comfort, belonging and dignity for our senior residents,” Ryan Combs, JPI’s senior vice president of affordable housing, said in a statement.
The 150,000-square-foot community will include a furnished clubhouse, fitness center, craft room and library, along with a resort-style pool with cabanas.
The Global Award winner will be announced in December in London. (Globals)
