HealthCarePoint establishes BlueCloud India

AUSTIN: BlueCloud by HealthCarePoint (HCP) has expanded to India, with strategic partnership with Clinexel Life Sciences Pvt Ltd. India is one of the fastest growing healthcare sectors in the world. BlueCloud India will use BlueCloud networking systems to deliver, distribute, implement and track (DDIT™) business and compliance programs and initiatives with investigative sites, sponsors and CROs to improve clinical research readiness and GCP compliance.

Strategic partnership with CLINEXEL Life Sciences, provider of scientific support and services to pharma, and other industry stakeholders, will be implementing BlueCloud technologies into sites and site networks in India, where the healthcare market is expected to reach $372 billion annually by 2022, according to – The Economic Times. With local access to these technologies, India’s research and healthcare organizations can improve educational opportunities and market visibility for clinical practitioners and quality of life for patients. Indian and regional members also will be able to more efficiently deliver, distribute, implement and track their clinical research business and compliance programs and initiatives using an interconnected global network of 1.6 million healthcare professionals from thousands of healthcare and clinical research organizations.

The Indian expansion will complement BlueCloud’s networking systems in the US, Puerto Rico, Central and South America, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa – providing real-time connectivity between sites, sponsors and CROs in a private, GDPR and CCPA compliant environment. This global connectivity:

  • Improves productivity and sustainability by connecting investigative sites with international sponsors, CROs and universities to exchange professional and site-specific information, offer real-time site screening, improve study start-up and increase study pipelines;
  • Minimizes potential fraud and abuse via real-time third-party verification of investigator sites, reassuring sponsors, universities and regulatory agencies that investigator site competencies are being achieved; and
  • Improves the ability to meet regulatory privacy standards by offering healthcare and clinical research professionals personal BlueCloud accounts where they can access necessary protocol, training, career certifications and globally accepted standards of care from one centralized, globally accessible location. Professionals and management can also electronically share these documents for the purposes of demonstrating competencies.

Sites, sponsors and CROs will have real-time access to the global BlueCloud Education Network and its providers of standards training and certification programs that professionals use to further their educational activities for competency documentation for regulatory requirements and certification for patient based diagnostics tools and subject recruitment standards required in clinical trials.

BlueCloud’s technological capabilities are continuously expanding, increasing visibility and opportunities for service providers, professionals and consumers. Ultimately, the goal of BlueCloud India and BlueCloud networks worldwide is to make outstanding healthcare available to patients in even remote communities by improving healthcare and clinical research and expediting the product-to-market development process.

“BlueCloud will help enhance medical research and innovation in India via a global connectivity,” says Dr. Deepa Arora, Founder Director of CLINEXEL Life Sciences Private Limited. “We are excited about this strategic partnership. Patients will benefit from improved clinical researcher training and provider networking capabilities.”
