MSP merger now set to create £10m business
SOUTHAMPTON: Two Southampton-based managed service providers have merged to create a £10m business. Aura Technology and Amicus ITS have combined under the Aura Technology Group name, but will keep their own names….

Aura MD Tim Walker will helm the combined business, while Amicus ITS MD Steve Jackson will become a non-exec director.
Walker said: “Amicus ITS is established as a leader in IT services in the public sector and shares the values on which we have built Aura Technology.
“It is unusual to find such a mid-market and enterprise-focused business in the sector, and I am pleased to welcome the Amicus team into the Aura Technology Group and look forward to working together to build on our success in delivering outstanding IT solutions to existing and new customers.”
Amicus ITS reported revenue of £8.5m for the year ending 30 September 2018.
The firm was previously part of healthcare provider Care UK, before an MBO in 2016.
Meanwhile Aura Technology welcomed former England rugby coach and World Cup winner Sir Clive Woodward as non-exec director earlier this year.
